Sort Health provide ADHD assessments and support to clients around Yorkshire and beyond with the aim to make ADHD care feel more human, more accessible, and easier to navigate as well as reducing wait times.

Key Features
The Sort Health website was developed using a custom WordPress theme with the bookings system powered by WooCommerce and it’s extension WooCommerce Bookings, allowing clients to book appointments and create an account.
The Sort Team can then manage and process bookings as well as the availability of the therapists.
The site also features a wealth of useful information and support including a blog, partner resources and self-care tools that can easily be updated by the Sort team.
Low-carbon techniques
eCommerce sites are typically more of a challenge to optimise compared to standard information sites due to the larger number of files running under the hood, particularly when it comes to the added security. We worked with with care and attention to ensure it loads fast with a minimal carbon footprint. Some of the low-carbon web design practices we employed included:
- Ensuring all images were sized appropriately, compressed and converted to the efficient WEBP format. Images also only load in as the visitor scrolls down to them.
- Only loading in functional Javascript files on the pages they are required to reduce page load.
- Hosting the site on optimised, Green Web Foundation certified WordPress hosting provided by 34SP.
